Okayyyy.... had started using my new mini netbook. am still deciding on what to do with this. sigh. first off, shall use it to type out my new games reviews, do photoshop with it (hey!! it can support ok! i guess.. lol. have yet to try it since i'm experiencing a MAJOR writer's block right now!) and update my poor ol' rusty blog.
So.. right. I'm experiencing a really bad roadblock right now, right inside my brain. Could nearly feel that it's shrinking, there *pointing to where my brain is supposed to be*. Horrible huh. Somehow, my brain is constantly reminding me what a lazy person I am, be it I'm shitting, peeing, eating, spacing out, in the train, on the bus, watching tv, sleeping, EVERY TIME without rest. Reminding me how lazy I am to the extend that i can just live without working, without friends, without eating... As long as I have internet, games and money rolling in out of nowhere (which I am not enjoying now).
OK, that aside. Not that I wanna announce to the whole world I am such a "lazy" person (which I am already doing so and can't be bother to do anything about it but just to type it out.. how typical eh?), lazy tends to remind me of a certain someone.. whom i first met while playing some lousy free to play online game 10 years back? Who introduced me a superly seductive game that I can never leave it alone. Who patiently waited for me to play with when I'm free to (that kept me thinking now, what on earth am I so busy with when I have nothing much to do on my hands, no friends to go out with)? So lazy is that person that having a haircut can be forgotten. I think by now, YOU should know who you are no? If you are still reading this boring and out of date blog of mine. I know you are my most loyal reader, of all times. keke. Dropping me a message now and then to "scold" me, which I'll never forget, about that NO FEMALE friends part. Should be pretty obvious by now eh?
Moving on (a favourite phrase by mummy Julie - she don't have the time to read this kinda blog and she doesn't know this URL exist), I'd mentioned (god, i hate this word now since I have used it SO MANY ZILLION TIMES at work! coz some people really needed to be REMINDED that I'd told them about it earlier, again and again I have to repeat what I'd told them, especially if it involves the root of ALL EVIL - MOOLAH!) before, I am experiencing a writer's blog (funny how I am typing all kinds of crappy stuffs freely now eh? because, having NEW gadgets gave me the "Feel" to keep typing on this new gadget *which I'd mentioned already, see, must remind people again - macham they asked for it - thick skin me - which I'm trying my bestest to nurture it, by eating alot but exercising little - to have Terence and Clifton remnding me about the gym - which made my brain goes blank when asked "When are you going to the gym?"*)... OMG! I have so many intervals that I can't remember where did I stop or what i wanted to type for this paragraph!! *Backtracking alittle....... Must be that Hachiko, staying near him made me... become like him alittle. I am not looking forward to that, corrupting of my innocent and SHARP brain to be... forgetful and blurry, like his* Oh, yes,... I had mentioned that I am experiencing a writer's blog (think I should have put a different colour for my thoughts that keep interrupting me eh? okies, I'll do that another day.
Brain: ya, procrastinating again..
ME: NO! It is because I do not have Dreamweaver with me to test colours!!
Brain: Stop making excuses, you could always check the INTERNET stupid!
ME: Ugh.. That is gonna take up alot of my time!! I have things to do after this post!!!
Brain: No dumb one, you don't have anything to do! I'd checked your internal schedule, it's E-M-P-T-Y.
ME: Don't dig into my private matters!! Don't you know what's privacy called? Since when did you become so free to do that? You are a BRAIN, think something more intelligent will ya?
Brain: I can't..
ME: What do you mean you can't?
Brain: Coz i'm inside YOU!
ME: .....
Brain: And please read up more, so that you can type better English instead of recycling them all the time, I can't stop yawning when EYE sees you type, and ...
ME: *Overriding BRAIN and stopped hands from typing out Brain's thoughts*
*Clears throat* I have gotta stay away, as far away as possible from Master Lil, she's influencing my brain!!
Gah, back to my writer's block. I'd managed to think of a game to review with much difficulty, but I still need to think of the second game!! Should I write about PC downloadable games? Or console games or ? Well, they are games either way right? Alright, for my next issue, I'll interview FEMALE gamers!! Gahahahahaa....
In case you were lost in that thick maze of mine, I was recruited by my manager to write for an internal magazine and my specialty, you got it, GAMES.
As usual, I'll end abruptly with you reading my post with occasional spelling errors. See, I know but I just wanna let your brain do the job. You know? Keep it running, to spot the wrong spellings. Train it, keep it alive so that it'll not shrink.

well, nothin much to blog about nowadays, or rather, i've been really lazy to blog.. perhaps getting old has something to do with this. I am lazy to even reply some smses... sorry peps. Am just getting lazy.
So, what did i do till date... How about entering a male toilet to take a leak? Frankly speaking, it was something that I'd always wanted to try but don't have the guts to do yet till that fateful night. Couldn't find a female toilet and saw this door with the "Gun" sign. My brain was telling me that it was a MALE toilet but i really needed to pee urgently and perhaps, laziness plays a part. So, i try my luck and went in. Luckily it was empty at that time and while peeing, i was telling myself, maybe that it was a UNISEX toilet? well, there's the standing one as well as a cubicle with a door for the sitting one. Guys don't need that much privacy right? But as i was typing this then i suddenly thought of why they need the cubicle with the seat.. coz they may have the urge to shit too! so, yup, i peed in a guy's toilet. Mission accomplished! oh, to add on, a girl was just entering that walkway as i was leaving the toilet. imagine what she could be thinking about! ;)
And... next was, I took part in a run. yep! JP MOrgan's run. I was quite keen but did not plan on joining it. Giving Aaron all sorts of excuses about not joining when he smsed me excitedly asking me to go with him. Perhaps Des was reading my thoughts, as he raised that question when we were having our daily meeting. So i just flagged myself and taking Hachiko (Joe) down with me. It's on 16 Apr and by right, I should be training now.. Yes, am lazy to do so. Earlier while i was cleaning the house, I told myself that I'll go jog at the big field right in front of my house after doing my housework. However, after finishing the chore, i looked out at the field and was kinda.. de-motivated. REASON: I don't wanna jog alone!!!
My gym sessions with Clift were always cancelled for some reason. Need to start training!!! (Ya.. right)
Even PP and Aaron had started training long time ago. sheesh.
I finally had my hair cut. Been wanting to cut it for some time back but.. didn't get the chance to since I have had my offdays planned out till last sunday. Am still trying to get use to the new length and am even thinking of cutting it even shorter but!! The thought of maintaining it pushed that cut-my-hair-shorter thoughts away! Had mixed reviews.. SOme say nice, some say not nice. Oh well, I like it! Maybe it's because.... no matter how hard i swing my head, my hair will still stays in place!! I love it!!! And it dries quickly, uses less shampoo and conditioner.. hee.
So, yesterday, no thanks to Eric G, I had this urge, to buy this LG netbook. So, its time i gotta make full use of it. sigh.... Gotten this FOC printer too, which I'm trying to sell. Shall post up a pic (when i'm not feeling lazy) and see if there's any interested buyers.
Shall stop here for now. Ciao~~
PS: Dajie's going JAPAN with Jer..... So lucky.. I MISSES JAPAN SUPER LOTS!!!!!!! Had actually checked out the study rates there and, it really cost alot to study there.. and accomodation is really expensive! it kinda sucks man. :(

The feeling of hearing a piece of news that happened to someone you don't know and to someone whom you are close with is totally different. The impact is different. However, it taught me not to take things for granted - i know i should have knew that long time back but, sometimes you wouldn't treat it seriously because things were going smoothly. My job, things i own, everything that i'm enjoying now.
Ha, my only post for the month of Feb, not that i'm posting it on purpose. Just have to put this thought here. Somehow i'd lost the ability to type, the crappiness, the energy that i used to have, all gone.
How time flies, when people are moving on forward, i am moving back. Retreating into the life i used to have, which is of course, gone. The times when everyone were close with each other, the carefree life, life where you were not burden with the need to survive, where life is simpler, less fast paced... Unable to move back, i can only dream of it.
Time wait for no man, how true is that? Just by simply doing nothing, you'll still find yourself back in bed in a blink of eye, resting for the next day even when you felt that you'd just woke up not long.
i'm a dreamer.

We woke up early, but not so early since this time, our hotel is really near the train station, so don't need to rush down.
Train ride last for at last 3 hours, checked in at Hotel Ebisu at Ebisu's Station. Just beside was Wendy's and Yoshinoya *that food there was terrible. i tell ya, the servings we have here are much better and not much of a price difference.
Since there was still time, we headed down to the Edo-Tokyo Museum, hoping to view the exhibits, unfortunately, it's either they were closed early for the day or the timing on the internet was wrong. We left and began to explore Akihabara. I was hoping to see the places that were filmed in "Densha Otoko" but can't find. Was alittle disappointed. BUT Akihabara was FANTASTIC! There's a whole lot of building for mangas, animes, games, figurines, etc! The sad part is... there's a strong smell of Otakus there too. Now i know what does Saori's friend means when she said that.
November 18, 2008
We made our 2nd trip back to Edo-Tokyo Museum again and I tell you, it was really BIGGGGGGGGGGGG! I realised they made alot of miniatures, of the buildings, streets, towns that were once there. It was very cute and you'll feel tempted to try doing one yourself.
Next stop, was the one that I've been looking for, since Celine had showed me that webbie.. or did i manage to find it?

YES! You wouldn't find THAT here!!!! I cant wait to go in and find....

*Slurps*

*Upclose*
So HANDSOME! I really love to touch him but.. SE was smart enough to place him on the floor, covered by plastic / glass, so you can see only, no touch. I WANNA WORK IN SE SHOP!!!!!!! Then i can see HIM EVERYDAY!! Hahah. I really ser bu de to leave that shop lor, and i even use my mobile to take a pic of him, store it as a wallpaper in my phone. Haha. Siao right?
I was even crazy enough to buy ALOT of things from that shop but luckily i managed to get a hold of myself and spend on some stuffs only. So, I left that shop a happy girl, decided to get a big paper bag instead and walked out an EXTREMELY HAPPY girl!!! I have the SQUARE ENIX paper bag!! Ya, big deal? IT IS TO ME!
November 19, 2008
Clifton wanna tour Harajuku street as well as the Meiji Shrine since it was there. It reminded me of our Far East Shopping Centre only that in Japan, it's very crowded and is.... out in the street, not in buildings or shopping centres. *Think shop houses in a long stretch of road*

The shrine was very tall man, and thick! Just see how small the humans are as compared to the shrine.
Guess what is this..

You got it.. its a spider wed. Clifton was mesmerised by it...
While walking the superly long pathway... I noticed that we ain't the only one walking there, but these too

If you do not watch your steps..... You'll be killing those poor ..

Superly tall lamp... not, its not me who's short....

Saw this treasure while on the way.. so cute that i timidly asked his Yakuza lookalike father for permission to take a pic w/ his cute son.

Below the giantic tree saw a....

Little boy who was trying to eat his bun that was almost half his face.
Walking further in, we saw the temple finally.. This guy inside was sitting down, on a board, not chair. If he stands up, you'll see his head touching the ceiling.

And realised that.. this place was actually a wedding haven! We spotted at least 5 weddings taking place at the same time and MORE coming in. Scary huh?

Some in kimonos...

While the rest were in these...
Deciding to stalk this couple, to see how their wedding photos are like..

They actually reserved a spot for a full family photo

They even have some place to put all bags without the fear of it getting lost or stolen and you can even take pic in peace!
Returned to our hotel to put our shopping bags and returned to Harajuku again. Went shopping and Clifton brought me to a place i shouldn't have enter.. a FOUR storey high KIDDY LAND! Went crazy, while controlling my spending at the same time.
Once done, we went over to Shibuya to meet Ah Guan who happened to be with his family too. We arranged to meet up at Hachiko's Exit, it's a pretty popular exit, go read up if you have time. It reminded me of the story behind H.M.V.

Went to this restaurant. That's where you place your shoee. it's great to be there with nice ambience, good food and....

CUTE BABY! She dont cry when you carry her lor. But me, being uncomfortable when carrying babies, esp if they are someone else's babies, I returned her to her grandma within seconds. Another happy issue was.. i get to converse alittle bit in Japanese with the grandma as she and grandpa don't speak English.

saw Japan's Pasar Malam! They dont really sell bags, clothes. But more on FOOD.

I remembered chancing upon this when i was playing FFXI the first time and it was during one of those festivals and i get to play this, virtually. Its no easy feat i tell you! That thingy in the loop wasn't net! It was paper!!
November 20, 2008
Next morning, we took a train to Narita Airport, trying to check into the Rest House inside. Once we dropped our bags, we headed out to the train station and Clifton saw this...

You should know this if you watch Naruto.

Waiting for our train to arrive..
Went over to Asakusa to meet up with Ah Guan and his sister.

It was a pretty crowded street and there was this temple which, was said to be very accurate when you prayed for something.
On our way for dinner, ate YakiNiku, yummy!! Meat, esp beef are so deliciously fresh!

Saw this... like Singapore's YangTze. lol. This one more open only.

Hint: Hana Yori Dango's female lead.
That marked our last day in Japan..... so sad.
November 21, 2008
Back to Singapore, with my heart left behind in Japan, my body being carried by my legs to SG. I did toy with the thought of going AWOL.. hahhaa.

Back to Singapore, with my heart left behind in Japan, my body being carried by my legs to SG. I did toy with the thought of going AWOL.. hahhaa.
Was feeling so sian today. sometimes i wonder, why people have to concentrate so much on a particular issue. Whether did they take your work performance, seriousness and all into account. Or do they just see "Oh, you this and this, so you are gonna be penalised *that's one word I heard the most since i entered this industry*"
Am feeling kinda bored of this line anyway. Just make do with whatever I have and take a step at a time.
