Happy 2008 to all my friends!

A year came and gone, but not with all my memories. Let me see, a summary of my 2007 perhaps?

- found a job that pays me on time finally..
- met a lot of great people, had a wonderful shifu and made some good friends.
- rented a room
- caught this beautiful display of fireworks at the comfort of clifton's workplace

ah.. missed having christmas dinners with friends, exchanging presents.. maybe i should organise a bz one again this year! ;)

well, the busy period is over. don't really feel tired, thought i'd edit some pics to post it up here. still have loads of them in my camera, waiting to be transferred over. :P

my 2007 Dinner & Dance @ Swissotel The Stamford hotel (previously The Westin Stamford). was kinda excited about that particular day (27/07/07) as it's my 'virgin' d&d afterall! happened to be working on that day and we were scheduled to close at 6pm. Rita and i went off quickly over to the hotel as my baby helped to book a room there. awesome ya? i simply love hotel stays be it in SG or overseas!

took some of the views and was trying to absorb the image of the room while i changed clothes.

It was a pity that we didnt book the room for another day (money factor as well as time) for there were going to be some fireworks display. :(


as the room was quite high up, around 24th storey if my memory didnt fail me, i just place the camera over the balcony's railing (of coz with the strap secured over my wrist! i was very worried about my new camera falling .... i doubt any of it parts will still be attached..) and took a quick pic of the swimming pool. it was quite windy and the view was superb!

As you can see, they were already preparing the stage for National Day 2007.


the room. it's quite costly i'd say. about 200plus close to 300 after tax and such. luckily clifton managed to book the room with corporate rate, so we managed to save quite a bit. :D

well, enough about the hotel. off we go to our dinner and dance! there's the flying dutchman and the other guy - whom i believed was the regular host for our company. quite entertainingly funny and surprisingly, our CEO was a very sporting fella! as the theme was uniform, some came in a group of prisoners with a warden, some in military uniforms, some in school uniforms, came as construction workers, etc. didnt really get to take pictures on them as the whole room was so packed that you cant really walk around. :(
oh, our CEO was dressed in a navy uniform - officer of course. haha.


with alvina and jackson - went through training with them. supposed have another 2 more but they were too busy inside.. so we just took the pic without them, as they most prolly forgotten to come out anyway. guess 2 weeks of training isn't enough to bond us.

after the numerous photo takings, we are already getting ready to split as there're some who have to work the next day - not me though. :P
some wanted to take a look at the room, so i just brought them up to see look. took some pics before they call it a night.

Am definitely gonna try to take off and meet up my friends for a reunion dinner!!
