wow! i think its my first time going for a medical checkup where it involves taking xray. mayb its considered common for some who worked in big mnc companies but its definitely my VIRGIN MEDICAL CHECKUP!!!
did eyesight/colour blindness tests, height (least i know im not shorter than 150 - that's not my official height ok!!!)and weight, urine tests - where they gave me this thin strip of plastic with 3 mini 'sponges' at 1 end for me to 'wet' it, doc check my eyes, pressed my tummy - very funny lor. the female doc was very friendly and nice. she asked me to lie on the bed and before she presses my tummy and asking me to 'deep breath', she first asked im working as a cashier huh? with which company followed by how old am i and that i looked very young like 18. while she was talking to me, i need to reply right? but how to reply when i need to 'deep breath' and reply at the same time? i only have 1 small nose u know? anyway i managed to do both.. lol.
guessed what's the first thing i have to do b4 doing the eyesight/colour tests? take xray!! there's a female doc inside and a male assistant. as i was wearing plain t-shirt, she asked me to just remove my bra will do. easy peasy! strip fast, wore back fast too. should have wear my sports bra instead. wanted to wear that initially leh.. but dunno why i wore bra instead. otherwise i wouldn't even have to remove anything except for my necklace..
oh ya, there was super loud thunder followed by very heavy rain that sat night. dont know why, i felt very scared and afraid.. (i used to like it very much) that feeling, was almost the same as when i did something very wrong and felt v scared lidat. tried to hide under the blanket and use clift to cover me too.
same as last night. reached home not long and it began with some thunder b4 a very heavy rain. felt so scared that i covered myself, brought my feet up because (with good imagination) i scared something will pull my feet and another thing to bite my neck..
anywaySSSSS, today is last day of work. felt very happy. really happy.

isnt it how funny that some people who have been single for almost all their lives whine about how lonely he is, how he is gonna be alone till he become an old fart and die alone, how he saw some girls he is interested in but have no balls to ask her out unless his friends do the job or even if he asked her out, he have no guts to go further. waiting for what? the most he'll do is to offer to give her a morning call if she mentioned that she cant wake up on time, text or maybe call her to talk on the phone - and it doesnt always lasts more than 2hours.
but once he found himself a girlfriend, and he'd say its no biggie if he's single again. life still goes on and furthermore he had been single for almost half a century. come'on. earlier u were whining about how lonely u are and asked people to introduce girls or the most u do is get to know them through friends or through some other source but do not dare to go further. only hoping the girl will know how u felt towards her, wondering whether will she feel the same, ... U think the girl is a psychic is it? and feeling only regret when she's with another fella or when she's not here anymore, ...
sigh, such idiots irritates me.
*******************************************************
was talking about shit w/ mr stm earlier and he said im a sicko after i announced that i'd finally managed to pangsai. hence, he termed our talk as 'topic on different types of shit' and funny thing was, he was LOLing in his training class! even if u r sitting in, dont have to do that bah.. the lecturer will get offended one u know? haha. he was actually imagining me with shit popping while walking around.. =.=
v good imagination but i like it! :P

am so feeling low now after receiving a call this morning. damn, i'd just take it as my really bad luck to have come across such person. next uob called me, trying to promote some insurance thingy and was hard selling it even after i'd told her that im giving it a miss and im already holding quite a number of policies. though its not really her fault but it just irritates you when they overdo it.
oh well, last night's dinner was superb! dajie and i were early so we went to get a table first and started feasting first while waiting for the rest to come. ver's customer came late as usual and we were already eating for 45mins before they reached! luckily most of the food we ate was light - veggies, mushrooms, hotdogs alittle of meat (the meat tasted funny), dad tried out the giantic clams (pity i didnt bring the camera along.) it was really big! almost like the size of a 7year old fists or slightly bigger. but dad said it tastes funny too. not as good as the normal small ones.
kept telling myself that i need to edit pictures, need to clear this and that and i have yet to touch any of them!!
i actually nearly L-O-L-ed in the train on the way home as i was thinking of the pictures and reminding myself to get the pic taken on annkia's bday to post it up and.. i was reminded of the video that xiaobai took. the funny gestures annkia did.. wah lau. there was this cute guy sitting opposite me then and i was trying hard to stifle my laughter. so paiseh.. told xiaobai about it and he went (=.=").

it was good to chat with a friend who 'mia-ed' for some time. haha. you'd taken the first step by taking up english, so just let nature takes it flow and im sure u'll know what u wanna do in time to come. JIAYOU wor!! :)
we celebrated my grandpa's birthday last sat at this Orchid Hotel (which i believe alson'll be holding his wedding there too). my uncle reserved this room in this dragon xxx restaurant. cant remember it exactly and they served mainly sichuan food, meaning there'll be lots spicy and sour dishes. spicy none, sour yes. there's one spicy n sour soup which.. i think the sourness is overwhelming. added lotsa pepper to kill the sour taste. dajie and i wondered whether was it the food that were quite sour or salty that made us drank alot of water. oh well, the food wasnt that wonderful and we were actually served with the 4 different kind of meat - pork, duck, chicken and fish. omg.... it was too much le. 1 of my cousin commented that its almost like we were having a wedding dinner or some feast. haha. didnt really enjoyed the food, stomach was bloated from all the meat and food but we did get to interact alittle with our cousins.
though we took up 2 tables but it wasn't exactly noisy - like family gatherings. cheryl n mom wasn't there, 1 of our uncles wasnt there and the rest weren't staying in sg. sigh. hopefully when the kids grew up alittle more, it'll be funner. as usual, baby raymus was the star of the night. everyone want to carry him. haha.
watched 'Wild Hogs' that night. would recommend it. its more like a comedy and a funny one.
sigh, ate too much meat that i cant sleep well at night. cant breath properly, stomach felt too full, cant shit, damn!
the next morning, i avoided all forms of meat.
tonight going celebrate my dad's bday with steamboat. gonna stuff myself with lotsa veggies!!!!! ugh!
muz prepare for sat or sun feast again. louis' 21st birthday. haha. time flies. soon, dajie will be celebrating her big 3-0 birthday soon. starting to sound alittle old now.. her, not me!

yesterday was very funny and no thanks to my boss.
lemme re-enact last tues on wot did he say before going on to yesterday's stuffs.
boss looking at the flyers and the photos printed there.
boss: anna and chris looked like a couple hor?
everyone's attention turned to the pic with immediate effect and nodded.
amir: wah! lidat we have a husband and wife team in our group. good huh?
everyone nodded. (+.+)
yesterday, kelvin was asking wot is my bf working as and..
kelvin: what's your bf's name huh?
me: clifton
amir, kelvin: huh? christon? chris?
me: no, its c-l-i-f-t-o-n
amir: chris tan?
me: (=.=) no, its cliFton...
amir: ohhh, what's chris surname huh? is it tan?
then, i knew where was he going...
me: no, its ho.
amir laughs and the rest laughed along too. me, txt boss to 'scold' him for his great handiwork... then he went on to 'promote' amir. ugh.
though it doesnt sounds funny here but it was yesterday. the room was practically filled with laughter man.
----------------------------------------------------
speaking of which, i was reminded of this guy whom we nicknamed as 'bai tu'. met him through a friend whom he was then courting her i think. found out that he took the same bus home as me, we met up almost everyday to go home together. it was fun for me as i was the only one who took a different bus home compare to my other girlfriends. i think i was in sec 5 and he in sec 3 but he was really tall for his age. should be around 177~180 thanks to his italian/chinese background. i remembered how awed i was when i found out that his hand was so much more bigger than mine and he did something funny - he clasped his hands around my little one. surprised i was as i quickly removed mine. it was kinda awkward lah. and he did the funniest thing one day, by asking me to be his other half at the bus stop! though i wasnt sure if anyone heard us but i was felt paiseh and oh well, rejected him i guess. so everything just start and end at that particular bus stop which i remembered so well.
oh! savage garden's 'truly madly deeply' is playing right now on the radio.. ah, that song brought back a particular memory. though what past is past, but as long as its a good memory, i'll keep it. :)
just like my 'poetic postman'.

think i'm getting addicted to watching movie alone..
went to watch 'Shooter' last friday before going over to BBF for terence's bday. i didn't know that there's so many factors that a sniper must take into such as the wind speed and direction, the areas where you can successfully take out someone (eg: not too out in the open, which storey you'll have to be, the distance, etc), timing, distance, etc. alot of calculation and alot of concentration. the main lead himself displayed a very impressive stunt of a train ex-soldier. trained to kill and trained to stay alive. if you are someone who likes FPS, using snipers, etc, you ought to watch this show. and the best part? no romantic story - oh well, you know how those directors love putting at least 1 scene of making out. *roll eyes*
everyone wore quite formal for terence's bday.. felt abit paiseh that i didnt dress up. aiya, im not the 'zhu jiao' anyway. :P
haha, somehow, the image of clift dancing kept popping up in my mind.. cant wave it away. it's kinda like.. the barney the purple dinosaur dancing you know? haha. hard to tell if he's really his age or he's the age i first assumed he was then during such events.

just felt the need to post this up.
had made a few calls to enquire something and i happened to call this lady from ERA regarding a particular unit in the west. as the units under the numbers were not placed together hence there's a chance that you may call them more than one time. yes, it so happened that i called the same lady again regarding another unit.
(after i finished making introductions)
lady: who is this?
me: anna
lady: anna, can you please check properly and call to make enquiry all at once?
me: huh? (blur, made too many calls)
lady: i think you called me once regarding xxx. (flips through her papers) ya ya, you called me earlier. can you please check all at once instead? i have alot of calls coming in.
me: (so? have alot of calls means u cant take my calls is it? having alot of calls coming = business no? u rather no calls huh? v funny leh. u r an agent, you should know that right? that you'll have to handle alot of calls.) ok.
and so i went through and once its done, she just hung up. no goodbyes, nothing.
another was a guy from dennis wee properties. said he's bz and nearly hung up on me. he placed so many ads under that number and when i called to check with him, he said they were either dummy ads or he dont recall posting them at all and he sure sounds like he cant wait to put the phone on me. finally, he buay tahan, he said "I'm very busy, cannot talk to u. its mostly dummy ads lah hor." and there, im hearing the busy tone. wtf? busy then? busy then dun want take my call huh? busy then dun wan do business huh? can at least say "can i call you back as its inconvenient for me to talk on the phone right now?" wah lau. i really hate some agents. some can be really nice, some can be damn fuk up and majority of them are like that!
anyway.... on a lighter tone. heee, my baby had gotten me some good stuffs, sounds like drugs hor? but its not! its G A M E S (imagine katamari's colourful wordings again) like TMNT and Rayman Raving Rabbids as well as my CSI which i'd missed last night and clift was so nice to tape it for me. xD
so, i'm a HAPPY (again, katamari's wordings) girl right now. lalala~~

sometimes, it can be quite irritating when someone asked you to calculate something for them and u'd forward them the results but they do not take note of it. and they'll ask you the same question days later. gave them the answer and having them to ask you again after a few days. cant they EVER take note of it no matter how busy one can be? imagine telling them the same thing not once nor twice but as many as 3 - 4 times.

forgot to post this for last sunday - where we went to Bright Hill for 'Qing Ming'.
sigh, its only for 2 mths and now, my baby nephew is growing up fast. soon, he'll be walking around when we see him during CNY.
afterwards, we thought we'd be lunching together but instead, my aunt has had her own plans and soon, we each left seperately. then we realised.. why didnt we ask our cousin what plans do they have. oh well.. least we get to go to labrador park (source: wikipedia) to see the 'secret tunnel' which i'd always wanted to go. :)
as there was 45mins before the trail starts, we took a walk along the path to see the guns, the bunkers and such. it was really interesting man as most of the holes were sealed up so we were discussing what exactly was the holes for, etc.
the exploration was great! the tunnels, which was built entirely using bricks only without any steel structures to support it and the only holes they have were to run the cables for generators to generate electricity, holes on the ceiling for air ventilation and another hole with stairs to enable the soldiers to climb up and down easily.
additional steel beams were added in the third room where the bombing took places throughout the passageway till the end of the tunnel to support the ceiling.
the walls, were very thick man. its about 50cm thick and imagine this - the bomb which were dropped in one of the long passageways did not destroy the interior except for the middle supporter which were destroyed as well as the british who tried to blow up one of the rooms to prevent the japanese from finding the tunnel only managed to block the entrance only. the walls stood despite all these.
at the end of the tunnel, in one of the particular room had its walls slightly bent due to the impact of the bombing on the passageways yet the walls didn't crumple. its like, they really built the place sturdy. oh, and that room was also the so-called resting place for the soldiers as well as storing of the ammunitions. they displayed about 3~4boxes containing the artifacts they found in that room which suggested they actually eat, sleep and stored shells in that room? they even displayed one of the bricks used by them then with the company's name still intact. unlike the bricks we used these days, theirs were totally solid bricks without any holes in the middle. really.
next, the guide brought us to the next tunnel which was preserved without any modifications nor additional supports or whatever. it was really dark man before the guide on the lights - which doesnt really helped but it does made me wonder, how do they worked in such a place that's not brightly lited. imagine the heat in the tunnel or mayb,.. its not hot at all then. but having so many people cramped in a small place, i'd say it's kinda uncomfortable working, sleeping as well as eating there. the walls were splashed with some maroon coloured thingy. nope, not blood. its actually the oil from the lamps they used then to keep the mosquitoes away.
the total duration for the journey took 1hr. it was really.. an experience for me i guess. i dont know how to put it in words..
interested? go see it. it cost about S$8.40 (its not really expensive considering the cost to maintain the tunnels & u'll find that it's really worth the money) and if you do not have any private transport. no worries, u can actually take a shuttle bus (bus 408) down from harbourfront.
did i mention that the sea water there was blue/green? yes, it's VERY clean man and i was surprised to find that there. and we were told that if you go to the sea every morning around 10.30am on fridays & sundays, u'll see the cruise liner - superstar virgo. we saw it and it was huge for the cruise was very VERY near us. we watched as it turn away from us with our mouth gaping.
and that, some of the structures were built during 1892. yes, that's about 100years ago. then, they built to keep away the pirates and after, it was to keep away the war.
its a pity that the old(former) ford factory was closed on sundays. we were quite disappointed and frustrated at the fact that it was opened only on weekdays. why? they should close on mondays instead since that was the time least people will go view the site and the only day we are free will be on saturdays and sundays. sigh.
and next stop shall be the Changi Chapel as well as Changi beach where the infamous massacre took place.
------------------------------------------------
sorry to friends for last night.
had a really weird dream yesterday. took a short nap then and had this really weird dream. dreamt of a friend whom i'd lost contact with for like.. 4, 5years?

the walls, were very thick man. its about 50cm thick and imagine this - the bomb which were dropped in one of the long passageways did not destroy the interior except for the middle supporter which were destroyed as well as the british who tried to blow up one of the rooms to prevent the japanese from finding the tunnel only managed to block the entrance only. the walls stood despite all these.
at the end of the tunnel, in one of the particular room had its walls slightly bent due to the impact of the bombing on the passageways yet the walls didn't crumple. its like, they really built the place sturdy. oh, and that room was also the so-called resting place for the soldiers as well as storing of the ammunitions. they displayed about 3~4boxes containing the artifacts they found in that room which suggested they actually eat, sleep and stored shells in that room? they even displayed one of the bricks used by them then with the company's name still intact. unlike the bricks we used these days, theirs were totally solid bricks without any holes in the middle. really.
next, the guide brought us to the next tunnel which was preserved without any modifications nor additional supports or whatever. it was really dark man before the guide on the lights - which doesnt really helped but it does made me wonder, how do they worked in such a place that's not brightly lited. imagine the heat in the tunnel or mayb,.. its not hot at all then. but having so many people cramped in a small place, i'd say it's kinda uncomfortable working, sleeping as well as eating there. the walls were splashed with some maroon coloured thingy. nope, not blood. its actually the oil from the lamps they used then to keep the mosquitoes away.
the total duration for the journey took 1hr. it was really.. an experience for me i guess. i dont know how to put it in words..
interested? go see it. it cost about S$8.40 (its not really expensive considering the cost to maintain the tunnels & u'll find that it's really worth the money) and if you do not have any private transport. no worries, u can actually take a shuttle bus (bus 408) down from harbourfront.
did i mention that the sea water there was blue/green? yes, it's VERY clean man and i was surprised to find that there. and we were told that if you go to the sea every morning around 10.30am on fridays & sundays, u'll see the cruise liner - superstar virgo. we saw it and it was huge for the cruise was very VERY near us. we watched as it turn away from us with our mouth gaping.
and that, some of the structures were built during 1892. yes, that's about 100years ago. then, they built to keep away the pirates and after, it was to keep away the war.
its a pity that the old(former) ford factory was closed on sundays. we were quite disappointed and frustrated at the fact that it was opened only on weekdays. why? they should close on mondays instead since that was the time least people will go view the site and the only day we are free will be on saturdays and sundays. sigh.
and next stop shall be the Changi Chapel as well as Changi beach where the infamous massacre took place.

wow, last night was my first time catching a show alone. hmmm, i should say its a very pleasant experience as there werent many people in the theatre and no disturbance and there was no one sitting beside me. its definitely my first time to watch a film in peace.
oh, 'Freedom Writers' was a very good film though it like those 'teacher got very lousy class, managed to bond well with them and bring them to success' kinda thing but this time, it touches on the different colours, racism, family, etc. and they actually talked about the people in the past, anne frank, etc. very good film, ought to catch it.

i fuk care her, just pushed my way through. at most, play abit rugby with her if needed. thought i could finally get rid of her, she came up and stood beside me at the escalator. i happened to be reading a msg fr clift and my smile just vanished the moment she swipe her hair again. this time, it was 'slapping' against me. do u know how irritating it can be? just because you have long, rebonded hair doesnt mean you can keep sweeping that irritating black strings of yours. when we reached the end of the steps, i was going straight, she was turning left. of coz, again, hit on me. wah lau! if you wanna turn left, stick to the left side can? bumped upon me, she still NEVER said a word of 'sorry'. so i just told her straight in her face 'what a biatch!' and walked off. dulan.

sometimes why must people plan out things for me? i already know what to do, just asking or informing only what. why always must keep telling me what to do? fuk care lah. U GO AND PLAN IT YOUR FUKING SELF. never listen to me anyway. dont ever ask why i never talk.
