then called up MOM to check on something.. again... they said that they had improvised on their automated calling system and from what i'd gathered.. it seems like there'snot change ... and the Q i wanna asked was not on any of the choices given by them.. and there's no 'pls press 0 if you wish to speak to our customer service officer' or something lik that... sigh...

just read an article which was talking about that automated system and it was kinda funny, in the way they put it. forgotten what it was. nevermind, i guess i'll have to switch to the 'high tech' way of getting their customer service officer's attention - email.

again, was switching between 'so you think you can dance' and 'superband'. mom was saying 'watch this one (so you think you can dance) lah, nice ley. me replied 'muz support local shows and BAND leh..' mom 'diam diam'. (kept quiet) hehe, and because i was holding the remote controller.

was kinda glad that RYAN from 'SYTYCD' was not even in the weakest of the 3 couples list. XD

though i muz admit, he lack some strength while dancing with his partner, which i hope he'll do something about it.

and... hehe, i WAS really impressed by LUCIFY (was it that name?). because they always sang those rock (something lidat.. im confused by those song genres) songs and THIS time, they sang a slow one! i was like.. fWOAH! coz the past few songs he sang didnt really bring out his real vocal strength you see, and last night i was like.. O M F G! this fella can sing and his voice was good! but one thing, as what the judges had pointed out. how come their image.. had mellow out? i mean, the thing that caught my eye about LUCIFY was their dressing (in 8days) and suddenly, what happen to all their stuffs?! the eyeliner, the makeup, the dressing, WHERE HAVE THEY ALL GONE TO??

anyway, good thing about them revealing their true face without makeup was that.... you get to see their zhen mian mu. heh. dajie mentioned that she saw some who were quite good looking.. but.. i didnt get to see any! i'm blind? perhaps... im too blinded by that.... matthew s. hahah.. ok. i'm going gaga. (too high liao). mayb i'll take a better look at them and i really hope that they will not get eliminated anytime. coz i quite like their group.

oh, i was quite impressed by JUZ B too! did they compose that song which they sand last night?

which i did realise was that most of the songs sung by the bands last night were quite.. slow? mild? i mean, every QI:NOBE was singing ok, slightly soft too. where's the rap, 'jay chow' singalike thingy??? kinda dont match them nia... but its also refreshing to hear some of those 'hard rock' band singing ... smoothies. hehe.

dajie crazy, asked me to sms-vote LUCIFY so that they will still be kept in the contest... which i didnt of coz! 60c leh! lol. yea.. i v niao de.. rather spend that 60c smsing. =P

hope the top 5 or so bands will be asked to perform outside for the public instead of using that stage all the time. so that... i can go down there and shout "JUZ B!!!", "LUCIFY!!!"

heard over the radio yesterday, that someone was electrified (?) while charging the mobile phone and using it at the same time. lightning strike and when the phone was recovered, it was burnt... so.... PLEASE DONT CHARGE AND USE YOUR MOBILE PHONE AT THE SAME TIME ESPECIALLY DURING A RAINSTORM!

few days back, memories of the JB trip with hy, rx and rest filled my mind. and the phrase that i used (out of nowhere) came while rx was driving. i actually said this "RX! Ni hao cool wor!" (which meant "RX, you were very cool!"). lol. and that, there was another phrase where jason and i were fooling around, something like " ba ..... diu chu qu chuan wai" (translated as "threw ... out of the window" or in other terms, "forget about your moral for now?" ) because a guy who used to mix with them actually said this to a girl ? dont really remember clearly.

anyway it was quite fun though we didnt get to take any pictures of our trip. it could be said as, our first and last trip together.

oh, then i went to chat with rx last night on msn, just as he was about to logoff. then later, he said that phrase "rx, ni hao cool wor!" which reminded me of the trip again. hahaha. that fella, i think the lateness and tiredness was getting into him..

i mean, last saturday when i was at mr gan's house, his 2 cute and beautiful nieces were there too. megan and gabrielle (sorry if it was spelt wrongly). megan had a sticker on her right hand and she was showing it to us.. then gab came over and gave me one too. anyway, cut the story short, i dont know how to interact with them. dajie was telling me to do baby talk with them since they came over to talk to us.

( oh oh, megan looked soo cute in her pretty skirt.. hehe with her butt looking extra big coz of her diapers! hehe.. should have taken a pic of her man..)

i think i mentioned in my post before but being the naggy and love-to-repeat herself chiobu, i'll .. hahah.. repeat myself again. =P

i'm totally uncomfortable with babies! i mean.. how to talk to them? entertain them? babies know if you are feeling uncomfortable with them and they'll too, feel uneasy. ah well, perhaps when the time comes, i'll know what to do with babies i guess... >.>

yeppie~ i AM a HAPPY GIRL! confirmed plus chop! the .. ok, second thing i did the moment i reached centrepoint was to buy FOR GOOD! cd at Gramophone which cost only lik 17bucks (rounded up of coz!) for some good music! *.*



reviews abt the cd: THUMBS UP! i was totally blown away by them groups! it totally sound like something that's unexpected, esp from local bands. not that im saying they aint as good as overseas product but, given the idea "aiya, made in sg.. sure not v gd, etc", it totally changed my impression! now? i cant wait till i get my hands on their own albums! namely the observatory (im quite impressed by them!), ronin (though i have yet to hear their songs but i'll give it a try) and more!

out of the 14 tracks in the cd, i love about 9 songs. BUT, i realised that u have to listen to them over and over again to truly get the core of it. hmmm, meaning.. at first listening, u'll find that its nothing special or perhaps, u'll find only 2 ~4 songs are not bad.. but then, after hearing to it for like, another 2 to 3 times, u'll be thinkg, "HEY! what's that song?" *checks for song title* and went "Wow! didnt know this song sounds this good!"

*wanna know the first thing i did? was to head down to times and bought the latest issues of Playworks and Electronic Gaming, hehe*

though i was kinda disappointed and STILL am.. coz... they didnt really put much on the hardwares... like the UK/NA gaming mags. y still buy? coz... i just wanna read some of the games reviews and support local mags mah! no lah.. not that i have lotsa $$.. ^.^; but... but.. must support local gaming mags!!! =P

well, updates for Final Fantasy Online are done and the WAIT is over for the latest expansion! 3 new jobs are up and ready (almost once u have the expansion set on your hands and IN your pc/ps2/xbox!!) to flag!

released date for the latest expansion, "Treasures of Aht Urhgan" was on 20th April 2006 but i think for SG, u gotta pre-order first (which reminded me, FFVII - Advent Children DVD set is ready for preorder and IF YOU DO THAT, U'LL get the limited poster too!! me? I WANTED TO GET THAT but.. i kept forgetting to go buy... SO! i'm going on tues to PS and make an order!!! *jumps around in joy*

but.. bad news - The lastest expansion will come only in DVD-ROM format only.. so for people like ME who only owns a CD-ROM drives.. gotta get DVD-ROM soon.. darn! luckily my box still can contain another 2 more drives... *phew* but.. how to install nia... muz check with dage. >.>

watched 'superband' and occasionally switch to 'so you think you can dance' to catch whether ryan and snow were in which... THEY ARE!!! YAY! i juz love em both. dont know y..

anyway, here's some bands which i think is not bad or have some impression on. (im no pro but hey, its juz my pov and u r welcome to share your pov too!)

1. Lucify - why? coz when i first saw their pic on 8 days, i was like, man! this band reminded me of some jp's band (forgot which liao so dont ask ok), esp when 1 of em wore the hmm.. dunno how to say. and they (some) plucked they eyebrows (if my eyesight didnt fail me), put makeup, etc.

*wait.. sounds kinda familar... did i ever comment on em before? nvm.. *

cont - Lucify - lik their band's name and them on the stage but seems like they are getting.. milder now? compared to their audition then.

2. Juz-B - superb impressed. WHY? obvious right? because they actually sang it in mandarin! i was like... holy cow! i mean.. i was totally blew away by them. thou their voice might sound abit unstable but i guess due to the pronunciation of the chinese words. like how they do the background music too. well.. CHEERS for em! m(_ _)m

3. Amber - Coz i love the only female in d group.. hahah.. ok, and also their stage feel. v nice (thou i wasnt there to see it live lah..). kinda reminded me of F.I.R thou the main singer is the girl.. Amber is not. but they looked kinda comfortable on stage.

4. Qi:Nobe - coz of the group's presentation. kinda refreshing and hey, SG also have what the angmohs have ok and i'll say SG's better! hahaha. but.. they cant really sing jay chou's song all the way right? i mean, they need to prepare something milder too.. cant rap (if thts what u call it) always...

i guess that's it.

oh, realised that italians and some angmohs are much more friendlier (no.. nt coz they more humsup) than sg players. of coz, except for my darling lil~* lol. they so dao. seriously, i'd tried and tested le. even jps are much more friendlier than sg players!

well, managed to convince lil to set aside sunday to do our AF quests while we'll gain some exp on saturday night. sunday = whole day, was aiming to at least get the remaining items.

ended up... i only get my hat. supposed to 'soon bian' get my leggings too (will take a pic for better illustrations) but.. we somehow got ourselves lost in that particular map and hence... was back behind the door (which has this special mechanism where you need at least 4 people to stand on a lever to open the gate). we decided to warp back then... BUT we found enough people for a quick 2hr party. it was fun and the puller was really pulling the mobs in so fast that i was running out of mp.. need to convert (meaning i need to convert my hp (health) to mp (mana)) twice... gosh! but managed to earn back the exp that i'd lost during my quest - died about.. 6 times.. lol. lost about 1 - 2k of exp. abit heartpain but doesnt really matter since i can gain that amount back fast and levels will never run away.

oh well, overall, it was fun. lol. never did i die so many times in a quest.

seeing lil in her af made me very gian.. to go and get mine too. hahahha. and seeing other red mages in their full set also made me v gian. i wanna see how my char look lik in that nice clothing. but.. there's also another set of eqs (equipments) that i wanna dress in - the nation's eqs. they have your nation's badge beside. very nice!!

was watching this drama taken out from the comics - the devil beside you (er mo zai shen bian) last week.

after watching 8 episodes and skipping/fast forwarding the rest of the 4 episodes, one word can only describe my feeling - disgusted.

The actor's acting sux.

What's his name? mike xxx? his face and acting both cannot make it. the guy in the comics was supposed to be cool, not act cool and he dont have to screw his face up just to look tough. mike was trying to look menacing but lowering his head alil and roll his eyes up to the top and look fierce. then smirk once in a while. its like... worlds apart man! he didnt portray the character well. seems like most taiwan drama shows are like that. that meteor garden too. (will be commented below)

So does the actress - Raine Yang.

She's cute yes, but her acting cannot make it. Cute is cute and she can make some cute funny faces - at the start, later part, it just go down the drain. getting worse. i think she better stick to singing while she can as her hosting sux too. as if she was put there for show only. her comments were lame and more like she was talking to herself, where you cant be bother to listen and give a thought. oh.. and she was not humourous too.

had a stinking feeling that she dont look that pretty without her makeup on. and it has to be FULL makeup, no less. short hair? she look ugly. i'm not against her or what. i like her voice when she's singing.

happened to see ch8's 9pm show starring huang biren, li nanxing, etc.. last thurs while eating my supper - yes supper coz had my dinner at 6pm. aunt lina came to our place to makan with us. ^.^

sigh.. that huang biren cannot make it too. she was trying to look tough but.. sorry, she cant. she looked sooo stiff in her acting! (fyi, my comment will be quite biased due to some reason and coz her mom was so HAO LIAN just because her daughter was an actress. duh.. not as if she's some billionaire or some intl star... -.-"

had a really filling dinner -> lunch that i didnt take my dinner last night. ok, i did 'steal' some food from my dad's beehoon. tasted godly delicious. hahah. siti prepared some soup in the noon so we could drink it at night. yummy, it tasted very good that i bet mom would praise her for that.

08.04.06 - makan at mr gan's house. actually it was to borrow his toilet (high tide on the way home) and since it was already 5.35pm, i waited for mei to knock off. she knocked off at 6pm and we can go home together. ended up.. dajie managed to persuade me into trying her mother-in-law's (going to be. haha) ipoh hor fan. so.. i tried and initially thought it was some small serving. ended up.. it was a big one. finished it and it was really tasty man! then mr gan's mom brought some sweet soup (consisting of sweet potato and the ingredients for the 'tong sui'). yep.. starting to feel full then..

after that, mei reached and she was asked to try the hor fan and.. we ended up staying till 10pm or so.. hahah. watching vcd and scv. oh...!! mr gan's cute nieces were there too. megan was soooOOO cute! very small size haha for a soon to be 2yr old girl. she was still shorter than me when i was sitting down (imagine that! i was already so short!). haha and after dinner, she showered and was dressed in her pjs - a pink jumper. SO CUTE!!! *.*

oh yah, had a 2nd serving of sweet soup plus some fishballs and chicken wings. >.>

09.04.06 - went for qing ming jie. yep, paid our respects to our grandma and get to see our soon to be born nephew~ (was kinda disappointed that the 3rd child wasnt a girl. everyone was hoping for a girl too... ) very active baby at night and sleeps in the day. hahah. after that, we went for lunch - chicken rice with uncle david and rest. darren bro and family didnt join us as they have to send their 2 boys for buddhist studies - 2pm.

so full... that mei and i skipped dinner. luckily, today (10.04.06) i managed to 'flush' out my system... hahah.

my house is infested with... TERMITES!!!! omfg! well, dad's gonna CLEAR them all this coming sunday! sigh.. the attic was all made of wood.. geez. gonna be some tough work. ugh.

oh and the weather nowadays.. produces so many of those flies (the kind that were attracted to the lights or was it the heat?) that mei and i had to be pest busters.. we practically 'vaccumed' all thosse flies. made me cant sleep in peace.. having nightmares of worrying that the flies would crawl into my ears or what.

gonna put some lizzies in my room. yep, they are my best friends now. XD

oh, for the record. the biggest lizzy found in my house was about... 15cm long? i think so.. ^.^;

Why i dont go clubbing?
i dont know how to dance and dont wish to go there and make a fool of myself. because my friends who went clubbing always return with stories saying this person dance like what and what and it was a very hilarious sight. skalli there's someone who happened to know you and was laughing at the way you are dancing, u'll be so damn! unless your dictionary do not include the word "embarrassed" or you are simply just too thick skin or you just 'heck care'. i cant! i have a reputation to hold!! hahah. hot chick who dance like a wet duck. no thanks.

Why i dont drink / smoke?
Drink - coz my face flushes easily. yes.. very red and people always get mistaken thatn im drunk which i wasnt. what to do, my blood circulation is just to darn good.

SMoke - i have too many things to try. why smoke? i'm already having trouble keeping my skin healthy!

went for a movie date with alson @ ps on last wednesday (05.04.06). was cancelled when my place was raining heavily. but around 730pm, the skies began to clear up.. went to check whether are there any seats @ gv, plaza. alot of empty seats. asked alson still wanna meet up for movie. booked "The Munich" @ 9pm. i was nearly late but... that mister was even later than me. missed only the starting though. lucky us.

--- stupid couple behind.. kept talking throughout the show. coz either one kept asking the other on what's going on. damnit!---

quite a nice show but abit too chim for us. hahah. went to kent ridge park for awhile. wahahaha.. saw the jurong island again. i just love seeing the city (anywhere as long as there's something to see) at night. the lights are pretty. oh, which reminded me... last time used to walk around in town when i was having dinner with serge. kinda fun because there's not many people on the street, less cars, quiet nights and we just chatted and walk along.

yesterday, of all times, it started to rain at 4plus to 5pm! it began to rain heavily and because i wanna drop the film to develop for mom and of coz, have other motive too (secret hehe). anyway, i dropped the film and by the time i walked back to the bus stop, my shoes were soaking wet and my jeans were wet halfway up to my knees. darn! the drainage system at the route to the bus stop from the traffic light was very bad. the pavements were leveled with water. >.>

gotta walk on the grass and boy was i lucky that there were no cars running past me otherwise.. *splash* fully soaked and doubt i wanna take the bus home.

mom's flying off to chengmai, thailand tonight. bet she's gonna be very shinpaishimasu. because of the thunders and lightning and.. she's gonna be covered by an aluminium flying object soon.

dajie and i are going to pick her up and send her off to the airport. sigh, how nice. WO YAO FANG JIA!!!!!

celebrated my grandpa's bday last night @ the old turf city (bukit timah). dinner at the ah yee's seafood restaurant(forgot its spelling). whn told of the location, dajie, mei and i were like.. 'Huh? there again?'

anyway, din really eat much but it was filling enough coz we had alot of those man tou (fried buns) to go with the sauce that came with the crabs. had a taste of lobster, yes.. i never tried that before because i stayed away from seafood due to allergy. tasted slightly different from crab but still about the same lah.

cheryl was back from london and wow, she seemed prettier. hahah, mayb long time din see her le bah.

anyway, was forced to drink that sharkfin's soup. nearly feel lik running to the toilet and puke it out nia. my stomach was turning inside out. sigh.. thats 1 of the reason y i dislike going to places like that, where you cant place your own order or inform them that u dont drink sharkfin's soup. they'll give you that funny look and make stupid comments. hell.
