Argh!! I'm having a big headache over this software! I need to do some calculations using this SPSS software so I installed it on my desktop - which broke down (most likely the graphics card issue) and tried to install it on dajie's lappy and it couldn't be installed! So I'm stucked and can't do anything! My group members and I had split up our work so to speed things up and since we can only meet after work, it is quite late. We were hoping to compile some of the work together tomorrow when we meet and now this... Wah Lau eh!!!
Sometimes I wonder whether did I make the wrong choice of applying for UniSim instead of UOL since UOL is 100% exams based = no projects. Just study, memorise and go for the exams. Oh well, no poit pondering over it.. Got to put in more effort in my studies!!

Excuse me, how old are you?
We had a meeting last night and everyone began to introduce themselves as there were some new blood in the group as well as a new boss.
So when I began to introduce myself and how long have I been with the company, the new boss asked me "is this your first job?". L-O-L!!!!!
Everyone (the old staffs) began saying that I'm not young anymore, I'm 30, etc etc. Muawahahhahahahahah!! So I'm soaking in that moment of glory!

新年快乐 恭禧发财!!!
Yesss, tomorrow marks the last day of Chinese New Year. It was all good and more members this year. Cheryl was back from UK and Aunt Peggy invited Dua Yi's son (Jason) to join us on Chinese New Year. Did not really interact with him as he was way older than us.
Here's a summary of my Chinese New Year 2012. There were more photos taken with another camera however the film was damaged and I have yet to check with the shop whether the photos can be saved... :(
We had an early reunion dinner with mom at Pu Tien again.
On the first day of CNY, dad came to fetch us to Guan Ming San to pay our respects to our grandma. Met up with Darren bro and family as well as the Cheryl and family. It was great seeing Cheryl again after 5years since she was studying in London then. Hopefully she'll set her mind to stay in SG for good but I would also wish her all the best if she decides to extend her stay in London with the current company she's working for as it'll definitely boost her resume.

难得 Giselle stayed with me throughout, so I decided to take as many photos as I could with her that day at Uncle David's place.
It was great catching up with Cheryl and I really 舍不得 to leave Uncle David's place because we still have lots of stuffs to talk about! And I found out that she like Japan too!! Maybe we get to travel together! :D
Saw Ye Ye the moment I entered the house, he couldn't recognise us, couldn't move, just sitting there in a daze. Even when dad tried talking to Ye Ye also the same - no reaction. He had a tube sticking out of his nose, guess that's for food since he can't chew solid food anymore. I know I sound evil for saying this but I rather he pass peacefully in his sleep now than to suffer anymore. It really pains us to see him in his current state. Then again, I was hoping that he'll stay strong and see his great grandson. If ye ye's not here, I wonder whether CNY 2013 will still be the same. Will we still try to gather together or not.
Had dinner at Uncle David's place before heading to Jurong (mom's side) for second round of dinner. There's more dishes which were not placed on the table yet.

Must take! Uh oh.. okay I had forgotten how to spell her name.. ah! But I remember this - Xue Qi!
With Wesley, since he's lazy to move, we went over to his side!
Yes! We were wearing white that night! Really 佩服 Jinny for being able to sacrifice her job just to be a stay home mom to look after her two kids. I don't think I can do that..
With Aunt Peggy, been taking photos with her since I was a little kid.
On the second day of CNY, I just realised that we did not pay our respect to ah ma, ah gong and ancestors this time! Took some photos before da jie leave for work.
Took our annual photos with Uncle Garick's camera.. awaiting for our dear cousin to upload them into Facebook first.
Invited the girls and boys over to my place on the 4th day of CNY. Made sushi since mom and Miao Ru are vegans. Lucky they liked it, next round shall be Japanese Curry! ;)
MxL even said I'll make a good wife.. cook dinner and wait for husband to come home. I doubt so.. most likely it should be the other way round hahaha! I'm too lazy to do that everyday!
Glad that most of them are able to make it and hope they had enjoyed themselves. Pity that the vainest boy couldn't make it as he was down with fever.. more like love sick. Lol!

First day of school
It was held in a lecture theatre today and the room was not quite what I'd thought it to be. Maybe that's the uni style?
First class was Thinking Critically. Quite interesting and I was glad that I'd picked this module. Pretty dry though for it was all theory and I being one with short attention span was feeling restless by the 2nd half of the class and was fighting to stay awake. Learnt a lot, maybe I'll be a pro at arguments next time. Lol.
Small class and didn't really like the guy beside me. He was shaking his legs almost all the way and it "shook" the table. Ugh. I'm not the oldest students and was impressed by the lady - she looked to be the oldest.
Found out I could take circle line to Buona Vista. Only need to figure out the bus to take from there.......
Next stop - Statistics. Wish me luck for it is a night class with figures.
On a side note, mom had finished a pair - mittens + shoes. Now she's knitting a blue pair for baby Elijah!
