We woke up early, but not so early since this time, our hotel is really near the train station, so don't need to rush down.

Train ride last for at last 3 hours, checked in at Hotel Ebisu at Ebisu's Station. Just beside was Wendy's and Yoshinoya *that food there was terrible. i tell ya, the servings we have here are much better and not much of a price difference.

Since there was still time, we headed down to the Edo-Tokyo Museum, hoping to view the exhibits, unfortunately, it's either they were closed early for the day or the timing on the internet was wrong. We left and began to explore Akihabara. I was hoping to see the places that were filmed in "Densha Otoko" but can't find. Was alittle disappointed. BUT Akihabara was FANTASTIC! There's a whole lot of building for mangas, animes, games, figurines, etc! The sad part is... there's a strong smell of Otakus there too. Now i know what does Saori's friend means when she said that.

We made our 2nd trip back to Edo-Tokyo Museum again and I tell you, it was really BIGGGGGGGGGGGG! I realised they made alot of miniatures, of the buildings, streets, towns that were once there. It was very cute and you'll feel tempted to try doing one yourself.

Next stop, was the one that I've been looking for, since Celine had showed me that webbie.. or did i manage to find it?

YES! You wouldn't find THAT here!!!! I cant wait to go in and find....

*Slurps*

*Upclose*
So HANDSOME! I really love to touch him but.. SE was smart enough to place him on the floor, covered by plastic / glass, so you can see only, no touch. I WANNA WORK IN SE SHOP!!!!!!! Then i can see HIM EVERYDAY!! Hahah. I really ser bu de to leave that shop lor, and i even use my mobile to take a pic of him, store it as a wallpaper in my phone. Haha. Siao right?

I was even crazy enough to buy ALOT of things from that shop but luckily i managed to get a hold of myself and spend on some stuffs only. So, I left that shop a happy girl, decided to get a big paper bag instead and walked out an EXTREMELY HAPPY girl!!! I have the SQUARE ENIX paper bag!! Ya, big deal? IT IS TO ME!

Clifton wanna tour Harajuku street as well as the Meiji Shrine since it was there. It reminded me of our Far East Shopping Centre only that in Japan, it's very crowded and is.... out in the street, not in buildings or shopping centres. *Think shop houses in a long stretch of road*

The shrine was very tall man, and thick! Just see how small the humans are as compared to the shrine.

Guess what is this..

You got it.. its a spider wed. Clifton was mesmerised by it...

While walking the superly long pathway... I noticed that we ain't the only one walking there, but these too

If you do not watch your steps..... You'll be killing those poor ..

Superly tall lamp... not, its not me who's short....

Saw this treasure while on the way.. so cute that i timidly asked his Yakuza lookalike father for permission to take a pic w/ his cute son.

Below the giantic tree saw a....

Little boy who was trying to eat his bun that was almost half his face.

Walking further in, we saw the temple finally.. This guy inside was sitting down, on a board, not chair. If he stands up, you'll see his head touching the ceiling.

And realised that.. this place was actually a wedding haven! We spotted at least 5 weddings taking place at the same time and MORE coming in. Scary huh?

Some in kimonos...

While the rest were in these...

Deciding to stalk this couple, to see how their wedding photos are like..

They actually reserved a spot for a full family photo

They even have some place to put all bags without the fear of it getting lost or stolen and you can even take pic in peace!

Returned to our hotel to put our shopping bags and returned to Harajuku again. Went shopping and Clifton brought me to a place i shouldn't have enter.. a FOUR storey high KIDDY LAND! Went crazy, while controlling my spending at the same time.

Once done, we went over to Shibuya to meet Ah Guan who happened to be with his family too. We arranged to meet up at Hachiko's Exit, it's a pretty popular exit, go read up if you have time. It reminded me of the story behind H.M.V.

Went to this restaurant. That's where you place your shoee. it's great to be there with nice ambience, good food and....

CUTE BABY! She dont cry when you carry her lor. But me, being uncomfortable when carrying babies, esp if they are someone else's babies, I returned her to her grandma within seconds. Another happy issue was.. i get to converse alittle bit in Japanese with the grandma as she and grandpa don't speak English.

saw Japan's Pasar Malam! They dont really sell bags, clothes. But more on FOOD.

I remembered chancing upon this when i was playing FFXI the first time and it was during one of those festivals and i get to play this, virtually. Its no easy feat i tell you! That thingy in the loop wasn't net! It was paper!!

November 20, 2008

Next morning, we took a train to Narita Airport, trying to check into the Rest House inside. Once we dropped our bags, we headed out to the train station and Clifton saw this...

You should know this if you watch Naruto.

Waiting for our train to arrive..

Went over to Asakusa to meet up with Ah Guan and his sister.

It was a pretty crowded street and there was this temple which, was said to be very accurate when you prayed for something.

On our way for dinner, ate YakiNiku, yummy!! Meat, esp beef are so deliciously fresh!

Saw this... like Singapore's YangTze. lol. This one more open only.

Hint: Hana Yori Dango's female lead.

That marked our last day in Japan..... so sad.

November 21, 2008

Back to Singapore, with my heart left behind in Japan, my body being carried by my legs to SG. I did toy with the thought of going AWOL.. hahhaa.
Was feeling so sian today. sometimes i wonder, why people have to concentrate so much on a particular issue. Whether did they take your work performance, seriousness and all into account. Or do they just see "Oh, you this and this, so you are gonna be penalised *that's one word I heard the most since i entered this industry*"

Am feeling kinda bored of this line anyway. Just make do with whatever I have and take a step at a time.

First of all.... HAPPY 2009 EVERYBODY!!!!!!!!!!

Well, its 0218hr, im having a really bad headache now, drank a LITTLE bit, danced, ate very little, entertain a little here there, just finished with my menses cramp, rushed to 1st NYE party to next, ended with a countdown watching fireworks via the TV in a living room filled with a mixture of Americans, Australians, Singaporeans, posers (sorry but that's how i felt it is, with a little fake accents here there), slutty people, quiet and some who felt out of place people, people divided into groups, some really drunk people who went... crazy. yup, that's what i saw through anna's eyes, my eyes. It was fun, get to see people whom i wanna see again like gaku (who returned from Japan not long and was complaining about the 5 degrees weather over there. i think he may have just converted into a tropical boy where SG weather suits him best though he was saying the weather here was like 32 degrees, john, winnie, aaron (who just returned from Australia and dances like Ben Stiller) - missed him, tuan whom i didn't see for like.. ages? who was an American and spoke a better mandarin than mine, felt like somebody's missing but i just cant put my finger to whom.

Yup, the year 2008 just flew by, while I'm trying my best to recall what did i do during last year (sounds kinda weird to say last yr when the year 2008 had just ended in a day's time and my mind, heart and soul is still with that last day of the year..). A year just passed, just like 2007, 2006.... 1999. Once read a book or some article that says, the time didn't flew faster, you just need to manage your time properly then you'll feel that you'd made the best of it. doesn't make sense? Neither does it to me. You have too many things to do, just too little time because you had wasted at least 6-7hours of sleepng time. Another half of the day at work, the remainder is for dinner, shower and back to resting.

Thought im gonna put up a short one.. which i am.. stomach doesnt feel well. shouldn't have drank on an empty stomach. Gotta go rest and put more of my thoughts another day, when i'm not feeling lazy enough to type.

Good nights all and Happy New Year again. Next thing i knew, will be Chinese New Year, which come and go, as usual, very fast.
