bought 2 of SG game mags.. yes, its my first time buying local game mags.. lol. coz compared to UK or USA, its not that good. lesser game reviews, critics, etc.. anyway what spur me on was.. WCG lol. decided that in order to keep myself updated with local gaming news, i need to read from of coz, LOCAl game mags.. which sadly, only Playworks cover more of that. perhaps.. lol. anyway, really felt worse when i realised how much i'd missed out on the final day of WCG (yes.. its over lik.. 2days and im still harping on it.. coz... this event is something that'll happen once in a blue moon? hey, so far there's not much news on such gaming events.)

what i'd found out was there's cosplay on final day!! (can take pics... oh by the way, the pics i'd taken on WCG, its not very nice, decided to keep it for myself.) and hip hop competition. lol.. nvm. hopefully there'll be more of such event and not only WCG itself since their 2006 destination will be italy.

went to chris house last night.. found my game.. which is not in their box... found some unknown cds together with... d original ones.. what's missing from the box - LoD Expansion and Battlenet... yay. how to play with lilian. so.. conclusion..

anyway chris' exams is drawing near.. So... STUDY hard ok? score good grades for your parents ah! or.. i'll tell em its a waste of $ to invest on u.. invest on me instead. ^^V

ah, forgot to add.. went to timbre on friday's night. there' sthis event (gotta check with dajie again). through invites only. went in, saw that the whole area was .. cleared.. no chairs, no tables. lol. gotta stand all the way. anyway, beer also cost more too. 1 bottle of heineken beer cost 12bucks. a bucket of it with 5 bottles cost 50bucks. lol, 10 dollars discount. food cost extra 2 bucks too.. sigh and quantity is less.. ugh. music was not bad but it got kind abored awhile later. no one dance on the dance floor which i guess was the reason y they cleared the space.. for people to dance. feel sad for the Djs. went off @ 0000hr...

woot!!!! managed to go to WCG 2005 today! lol, went with lilian. at first she's lazy to go out coz she reached home around 3pm and gotta go out at 5pm. =P then she soft heart, came out with me.

it was a rather exciting and intense tournament there. watched USA's Team3D VS Canada's Team_EG @ 1930hr. its lik an experience. a whole new one for me as i get to see such event and it's an international event where u see the professionals players. am disappointed that Singapore's Team_Titans didnt make it to the semi finals (lost 16:2 to Team_EG) and that i didnt get to see their exciting match ytd and today. (if i didnt get it wrong) must support home team right? ^^ bet it was a rather fun and exciting one when singaporeans cheered and supported Titans on when they were losing the first 3 rounds. its very heart warming. and was disappointed that i wouldn't get to see tomorrow's finals as i have something on.. sigh. seems like Kazakhstan's k23 is very strong. won all matches.

tmr's schedule will be Kazakhstan's k23 VS USA's Team3D @ 1330hr, Russia's Virtus_Pro VS Canada's Team_EG @ 1100hr. have a feeling that k23 will win Team3D and Team_EG will win Virtus_Pro. ha, we shall see if my prediction is correct. ^^

will try to catch the show on TV or internet if possible. hope Channel U's hosts will shutup. the 2 commentators for the match i'd caught - Team3D VS Team_EG are quite humurous. lol. interesting. pity.. next year it'll be held at another country... sigh. when will they come over again?

argh... heart pain!!!! today's the first day + opening ceremony of World Cyber Games held in Suntec, Singapore!!!! supposed to meet lilian go.. but i actually forgot about it!!!! damn damn damn!!!!!!

WHY? because in every commercial breaks, "Super Host" (i think that's what its called) pops out everytime! bloody hell! if they dont get sick of it, IM SICK OF IT! geez, dont they have any other advertisement to put instead of that? even the newspapers and people who's watching channel u are comlaining of it! kao. no more channel U. very bought this taiwan drama which channel u is showing it too "Prince turn to frog" or whatever its called. ITS A CRAPPY DRAMA!!! what crap man, girl kept opening her eyes wide like she's staring, kept crying and crying. geez, dont they get sick of it? even JAP actresses doesnt make emselves cry till that extend. then that guy, "Jun Hao" i tink, is sooo expressionless and doesnt even change much even when he's the before amnesia or after, his facial expressions are still the same! (sorry fans of that crap show but its juz total crap!) only good thing about that show? ha, the 2 background guys made up for it. that 5566 guy and the other. other than that, we just FF it all the way to the end.

ah, such coincident! chris called me in the morning!! ^^ very nice morning. chatted alil and boy, i missed him sooo much. haiz.. and i called his mommy around 4plus. she picked up! ok, wasnt able to get to her before that. turns out she was outta town, in melb to play golf. sigh, chris mommy is a tai tai sia... anyway, chatted alil and its time to knock off!

speaking of which, last week, we spent the whole night taking screenshots, trying to make a LOVE STORY lol. she happened to use a male character, me, a female one. lol. hope it'll be nice. i'll be the script writer, she, animator. ^^ muz make use of what she'd learn mah.. hor, DMD student? =P

bleh.. my 2nd posting liao... dunno why the first one didnt get "eaten".

so.. cut my story short.

on hari raya (03.11.05), woke up early. couldnt wake up on time. dajie, mei n i put on makeup to look pretty. took a cab down to jer's place to pick him up. headed straight to rabiah's place. dear's already @ the void deck waiting for us. chatted + ate lunch - longtong, chilli ayam (chicken), prawns, mutton, veggies, etc. the traditional malay fest. food ^^ THAT reminded me of the time i went to maz's place for dinner with amir and anwar when we went over to do project.

stayed till 1600hr and headed to dear's place first coz he wanna change clothes. dajie + ver went to our factory first as we were celebrating hari raya with our workers. ^^

this year's dinner was rather sumptuous. they prepared alot of food. >.< my lunch had yet to digest that time... cant really enjoy. after that was fruit. wow.. last year dont have. =P

ah.. dont really wanna go into details. this blogger's driving me crazy earlier. *edited template, gotta refresh page, size, etc till sian.*

after dinner, took pics. ^^ din take before too. this year seems kinda.. special. no idea why but i guess mayb the big project which we were rushing earlier kinda brought us closer together. everyone helping, working together, rushing together. haha.. our workers were more stressed up than us. they were lik, no enough time to finish this, that, how how? lolx. am very touched.

oh, dad sent us to raffles city where i was meeting dezmond (din meet up with him for a long time! since.. 2000?haha.. i still remember the time where he "disappeared" and suddenly i received a postcard from him. stamped in new mexico.... anyway am really glad to have meet up with him. he looked more mature + fresher now compared to last time. good good. higher chances of finding a girlfriend. XD

walked over to timbre where jer + gregory were waiting for us there.

Singnet's bB's pricing is a BIG diff fr Biz n Residential... Biz for 256 (note) is 160.. residential is what, 50bucks only... kao..

anyway... that's not the main thing. was totally pissed off by starhub's customer service.. so diff to get through their hotline and the electronic voice that said "press 1 for xxx, press 2 for xxx" then end up almost all asked you to go check out their website at xxx. -.-" might as well hack away their customer service hotline? duh.. nearly give up calling then finally got one.. but dunno what number was that.. d fella asked me to call another toll free hotline (who cares if muz pay or free ah.. tot all 4 digits free except for those 100 or 1900 xxx thing?). also not very helpful and worse.. they dont cover our area @ aljunied.. yay.. wth. so thumbs up for singnet. d electronic voice is more direct, least ALL will lead u to a CSO if u cant find what u r looking for instead of asking u to check out their webby (wonders what happen if i dont have isp?) and friendler.

went for breakfast @ siglap MacDonalds.. the lady serving me *fawn, wht name is that?! lucky she din call herself cola or whatever*

- greet as what the others always do
- most importantly.. din inform me that i gotta wait for my pancakes. -.-" if i din see my mei went back to her seat (she wasnt informed too) + see that in-tray (where burgers, etc were waitg in line to b taken), i would have stand there lik a fool....
- brought pancakes over.. never say "Enjoy your meal". early in d morning make ppl bad mood liao. worse.. the manager same pattern.
- manager + staffs (counter n cooks) all talking and laughing loudly lik a bunch of fools..
- manager not respected by staffs coz d staffs said sth n d manager scold them "Siao" (crazy), the staffs counter bacl with the same. so no face...

project's finally over but still have lotsa pending works.. lucky our clients are very patient. least still have work to do after this major project. now gonna plan something else to bring in MORE money. ^^

went for dinner @ blooies on last saturday with dear, peng, dajie, jer and mei. not very nice compared to timbre's. least.. timbre's fries are more in quantity, no extra charge on sauce and their sauce is very nice!! burger sux, pasta sux too.. next time go blooies drink only.

ah... initially dont intend to drink coz need to work the next day (Sunday, overtime) yet.. end up drinking. nearly cant wake up the next morning... ~.~
